  • Job Summary

    The Health & Administrative Coordinator works very closely alongside the Camp Administrative Team to manage a wide variety of operational functions including the evaluations process, schedule coordination, inventory tracking and management, coordination of all financial functions including purchasing, payroll, and accounts payable and receivable, coordinating camper registrations and maintaining camper files, overseeing all functions of the Trading Post “Camp Store,” and facilitate all camp communications including phones, emails, mail, and social media. 

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Previous successful customer service experience. 
    • Strong skills in email, phone communication, and written communication. 
    • Comfort level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. 
    • Comfort level in learning new applications in PC and iPad formats.
    • Comfort level working in a wide variety of social media environments.
    • Previous medical experience / comfort level preferred.  Ability to successfully complete certification courses in CPR and Wilderness First Aid.

    • Ability to make observations and complete paperwork
    • Supervisory experience
    • Maturity in problem solving and decision making
    • Live on site for 8-10 weeks during the summer
    • Preferred minimum age 21
    • First aid and CPR training
    • Provide proof of USA citizenship or appropriate Alien documentation
    • Must be able to complete & clear a Criminal & Sex Offender background check


    Physical Working Conditions

    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand; walk on uneven surfaces; sit; handle or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell.
    • The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
    • Work is performed in the outdoors with regular exposure to insects and wildlife; weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e.: heat and humidity, rain and storms); and walking several miles a day at a brisk
    • Noise level is usually minimal to moderate.
